Hi all,
Recently reinstalled WIndows 7 and I'm seeing a strange issue: when Windows plays a sound - like the sound for a USB device being connected and recognized...my volume momentarily drops. I verified this by watching the sound levels in the volume panel (you see the green that shows how loud the output sound is) while playing a 1khz sine wave of constant volume...and the volume panel showed that in fact the audio output levels dropped.
Even if I mute all Windows sounds...the volume drop occurs...
Is this Creative showing my once again that they fail at writing drivers, or Windows being a piece of shit?
Thanks!
Edit: Seems the drop occurs ONLY when plugging a USB device in...NOT on any other WIndows sounds.
