Anyone know how to disable the annoying clicking sound everytime you click a link or just about anything for winxp? Also all the other windows default sounds. I did it before and now I can't remember

Don't think you can disable the clicking sound. I looked for it myself at one time and couldn't find it. All other windows sounds (startup, shutdown, errors, alerts, etc) are found in Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices>Sounds. Select the sound you want to change or remove at the bottom of the tab, and browse away.
 
you did it man, under sound scheme goto the drop down menu and hit no sounds :) Thanks for ur help man, greatly appreciated
