Recently I've been having some problems with my volume. It seems my Windows media player has begun to globally control the volume when I change it ONLY in WMP.

ie. I'm listening to windamp and WMP at the same time. I turn down the volume on WMP and now I am unable to hear anything else becuase its globally changing the volume instead of only for WMP.

Does this make sense?

The weird thing is that even though when I say it effects my volume "globally" There is no change in the master volume switching thing found in sounds and audio devices?

What do you guys think I should do? This is really annoying and I've tried doing system restore, uninstall any programs I've installed, etc but no dice.

Thanks for the help
