• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Let's pull all pertinent install info into this thread so I can add something to [H]orde|Central.

Perhaps start with an install guide and go from there.

Basic Windows SMP Install Guide:

Make sure you have the Microsoft .NET Framework v2.0. You can get it here. if you need it.

Download Windows SMP client from here:
Windows SMP Client

Run the self extracting EXE.

Go to the directory you installed it into and run "install.bat".

You should see a line twice about MPI working. If you don't see that then something is messed up.

Run FAH.exe to start up the client. Set up your Username and Team 33 and you should be ready to go.

Note: Stanford doesn't currently support running the client as a service, so you'll be stuck with a command window. There are workarounds for this but I'll leave that to someone else.
Note2: The client currently has to be run on a Windows account that has a password enabled. The account must have administrator access I believe. (I just used my main account, so not sure about that.)

Enjoy the SMP goodness.
