The link is on the main hardocp page.

Anyhow, the 32-bit Enterprise and datacenter versions support 64GB of RAM.

So much for the theory that a 32-bit OS can generally only support 4GB.

I am downloading both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions right now.

If this is a theory, the absolute only person on this planet to have it, is you.

128 MB of RAM minimum required; 256 MB or more recommended; 64 GB maximum for x86-based computers; 2 TB maximum for x64 and ia64 computers

PAE (Physical Address Extension) is old skool man. The 4GB limit in the workstation and entry-level server software is real, but it's also enforced in code by MS. Buying the fancier higher level server OS gets you PAE for additional RAM support. Mind you that there are limitations to how PAE can work, and it may not support all apps.

I know PAE is "oldschool"... but as of late I have seen an aweful lot of posts here and elswhere about Windows not being able to see 4GB of RAM.. even with PAE enabled.

I also did a search about Linux, and it seems an aweful lot of people seem to think the same applies to that OS as well.

That is because they are right. MS enforces the 4GB max in the workstation-grade and entry-level server OSs. You *need* to buy the higher end server to get the extra RAM support.

It does.

Linux has PAE too, but it's more accessible than it is for Windows.
