Windows Screen saver problem?

My computer is officially a weirdo with a mind of its own. Every day when I get home from work, my program windows are all messed up... the blue bars at the top are completely missing, and pieces of underlaying windows on the desktop show up inside each other's spaces. When I move windows,they stamp themselves all over my screen. The only thing that fixes the problem is logging out. I guess what seems to be initiating it is me being idle for a certain periods of time?

Any idea what would cause this? I was thinking something with the screensaver?

If you think its a screensaver problem, then turn the screensave feature off. With todays technology they aren't needed at all. If you are gone for long periods of time just turn the power to the monitor off, saving power. Other then that, I've never herd of that problem with a screensaver.
