Title basically says all. Prevoiusly I was going to get a Dlink DIR-655 to get gigabit however some salvaging around got me a decently speced pc in a matx case (PD805, 1G etc). Add a $25 gift cerfiticate I got from Best Buy which I used towards a gigabit switch I thought I might as well save some $$ (Im not paying fot the electricity anyway lol) and keep my old router which will now be used as an access point (not enough WAN -> LAN throughput). Looking for features like QoS and port forwarding. I am not sure how well Windows built in ICS work. I want the computers on the network to be as if they were directly connected to the internet while having all the ports hidden from outside (basically all that a router does). I have and can use any version of Windows (MSDN through college). No Linux advice please since I run some Windows only program. Thanks, any tips will be greatly appreciated.
