Windows panel for Antec Sonata II?

Is there a window panel you can buy for this case? I don't have the tools to mod it myself so one that could be bought would be perfect.
 
get yourself one of these and one of these, clear an evening, drill one hole, and have at it. :) dont forget to wear a glove (nibbler blisters suck ass). :mad:
 
Hmm, ok, I've never done anything like that, how hard is it? Any tips for the cutting bit? I read a few guides for creating windows in side panels.
 
Do they deliver to the UK?

If not, anyone know of a place in the UK that sells them? Store or site.

Ahh hell no. The Sonata's panels are really tick, you would be bleeding nibbling that! :eek:

Get a dremel or a power nibbler?
 
i just did the side on my BQE (same panel) yesterday, with the exact same tool in about an hour. its not that hard. my 10 dollar nibbler has done about 15 windows now so its geting a bit dull. time for a new one.

the only difference is i cut my own plexi and used a different style trim. the cutting is exactly the same.
a dremel would take about as long and use up 5 bucks worth of cutting wheels. plus you cant dremel and hear the tv. :)
 
That Antec one says its for a full tower which I don't believe the Sonata is.
 
Any update on this? I don't really do any case modding so buying equipment for it isn't really worth it.

@OP Nope there is no window solution other than making your own or sending the panel into a mod shop to do it for you.
 
Damn, I'd try the nibbler option but I've heard that since the Sonata panel is quite thick it can be tricky (and painful) cutting it.

There are probably very potent nibblers out there. Why not opt for a dremel or some sort of powertool... most of them you can rent for cheap.

if $5 is too much money, then why bother with a window considering that just the plexi and trim will cost about that much... let alone a whole window kit.

A nibbler would also be about that much...



now this is beyond me :confused:
