Hi all, not sure if this is the right section but anyways.
I was wondering if its possible that i can create a virtual environment of Windows 7 x64 and install drivers and create a backup of it so that i can take this with me and restore it on my neighbors computer?
he is haveing alot of issues install programs (Google earth, Itunes) and his PC is cluttered with Virus / Malware (currently running malware and anti-virus software at the moment) but im afraid that the OS is too far damaged that i think a total redo of the OS would be better.
If i cant use the VM can i clone my own harddrive? i use a SSD with windows on it and i need his drivers for his motherboard.
or should i just get a windows CD and format it and start from scratch and make a proper backup with everything once im finish on his computer
