im trying to install Windows 2000 Advanced Server on my server. It boots the CDROM and loads everything, i delete the partition and format it then i procedds to copy all the files and reboots. After it reboots it says "A Disk Read Error Occured" then under that it says "Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart" Is this because during setup i need to press the key to load the third part Raid drivers? I tried with Win 2000 Server and it did the same thing. I tried with Windows NT Server and it actually reconizes the Adaptec 7880 but it says it can find any Disk Drives and stops setup and makes me reboot. I would really appreciate your help so i can get Windows 2000 Advanced Server running. Thanks
It had FreeBSD on it before i tried to do this, is this what is causing the problem?
Ive also tried every version of Windows from 95 to XP to Server 2003 and they all do the same thing.
