windows freezes while loading

Whenever i restart my computer, windows freezes a split second after the logo appears. My computer restarts, and the problem persists. Ive had this computer for about 6 months. I figured out that if i leave my computer off for about 10 minutes after experiencing this problem and then starting up, windows loads without problems.

Any ideas on what it might be or how to fix it? :confused:
