In XP, you can click View > Customize This Folder..., and choose a preset template for that directory. You can also opt to apply that template to all of its subfolders (which does not always work).
In directories of music files, I like to view (in Details view) the ID3tag info (Artist/Title/Year/Genre) and the duration, and I have several of these directories.
I would liek to save these view settings as a template, so they could easily be applied to other volders, or to this folder if they ever get reset for some crazy reason.
Does anyone know of such a tool or method of accomplishing this? It's annoyed me for quite some time.
