So I just got ARMA 3 (a game) and when I view the multiplayer server list I only see servers with like 2500 ping. But...if I turn off my firewall completely, I can see normal servers with 50 ping. So I went to "allow a program through Windows Firewall" and put a checkmark next to ARMA 3 and Steam, but it still blocks access to servers unless I disable it entirely. What gives? How can I tell the firewall to fuck off when I am playing games?

Are you using a router? You may need to open the ports at the hardware level (router) rather than in Windows.
But if it works/doesn't when he toggles Windows Firewall, why would he need to touch the router?
