And Also my DVD-Rom is going a lil nuts sounds it like trying to read when there no cd inside.

I think my DVDROM drive just crapped out on me the activity light is going crazy..

Try booting the system without the DVD drive attached. If that avoids the error - then it looks like time for a new DVD drive.

As to what the error message means.... no idea. Except for - why are you not using SP2 ?

Fair enough. Took a bit of a wild guess on the error message where is said "SP: 1_0".
So I assume that "OSVer: 5_2_3790" refers to XP Pro 64-bit. (AFAIK: "normal" XP is ver: 5.1)

All irrelevant really. :) I only wanted to suggest the one thing - unplug the drive. If error goes away, replace the drive. Much less hassle that trying to decode a stack dump.

Pretty sure its a dead drive, Ordered a Replacment Pioneer 110D ;)

thanx for the input. :)
