Windows distorted when hooked up to tv

i dont know if this is a known fact but i tried google'ing my problem but i got completely different results.

i have my HTPC hooked up to my 67inch dlp via hdmi. im using the GB g45 board in case that matters.

my problem is that the screen is distorted at the top and bottom to where it looks curved, ill clarify it in my diagram below.

RED = Windows screen.

how do i fix this?

Make sure you have the computer set at the native resolution and refresh rate for that TV. That information should be found in the manual.

native res is 1080p @ 60hz and thats what i have it at, i noticed this on my plasma as well, so im not too sure what it can be.
