Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hey Guys,
I am purchasing Windows XP Pro for my PC and it has x86. I wanted to know if my system is compatible with it.
My mobo is a DFI Infinity NF570 M2/G
and my CPU is AMD Athlon 64x2 6400+
However with an x86 version of XP or Vista you'll only be able to utilize < 4GB (~3.25 to 3.8) of RAM. So if you want (or if you're going to install) more than 4 GB of RAM, you'll need a 64-bit Operating System. XP comes in a 64-bit version (some people swear by it - others say avoid it like the plague) and Vista comes in 64-bit as well.
I for one recommend Vista over XP and 64-bit over 32-bit. But that is just my opinion!
Also it looks like you'll have drivers for XP or Vista 32/64 on the DFI website, so things should function fine for you.
