Ok, here is the situation. My hd activity light header on my mb went guts up I guess. Cant get a voltage reading on it to save my life, and every led I tossed at it never worked.

Yes, I tryed flipin the led wire each time to make sure it was not a POS/GRND issue.

No, it does not work hitting a true ground either.

No, none of the drives I have let you plug in directly to the drive for hd lights, nor have I even ever seen one, and I have seen my share of drives.

No, I don't want to tap my ide line for activity either.

I have tryed Gkrellem, but I realy don't want something that heavy. Looking for something very light, system tray style would be cool.

If someone knows of such a piece of software, please give a post! :)
