Windows 98 Initializing and Formatting?

How the hell do you initialize and format a brand new zeroed filled drive in Windows 98? I have an 80GB IDE Western Digital drive that I would like Windows 98 to format for me in FAT32. I can see an unused disk using the fdisk utility but it shows up as about 10GB.

Any ideas?

P.S. I'm constrained to Win98 for a specific software app so switching to a newer OS isn't a solution.
 
A). format it from another computer running xp.. Just make sure you format it as Fat32

B) When fdisk asks whether to enable large disk support, choose yes..


Some older computers do not support drives over a certain size.. A bios update usualy fixes that..
 
Just boot from cdrom and let it format it for you... if that doesnt work just make a system floppy disk and fdisk the hd.
