• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

I'm helping a friend out with his pc, that has Windows 8.1 installed. There is two user accounts on the pc, his and his wife. His account works fine, but his wife account is not accessible. When you boot up the pc only his account available. After you login into the computer and try to switch user. The only option that comes up is his account again! Check control panel and both accounts are there, so I try using update and recovery feature. Which tells me files are missing and insert media(installation disc). But when I do that it tells me media is invalid. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated thank you.

I think it might have something to do with wether or not the accounts are local or microsoft linked accounts. Some where in the accounts settings I think there is an option to show local or microsoft accounts or both. I had a similar problem where I accidentally set it to local accounts only and my account wasnt showing up because it was a linked microsoft account. Sorry for the vague and unsure info but atleast it might be something to look for.
