Hello, Ive installed windows 8 on my netbook and ive gone through the regedit and i'm able to set the resolution to the required size for metro apps but I have a problem. Ive seen videos of netbooks that the image remains the same just thinks its bigger( not disformed) but when I set the resolution everything scales as you would expect and makes things look really bad. I'm hoping theres a way to make it so it only thinks its at the higher resolution without actually changing it onscreen.
