Windows 8 move AppData folder

I have tried several times moving the appdata roaming folder to a partition and everything works fine except for the homegroup and media streaming which breaks after the move. I am using tuneup utilities to move it to the partition. I dont know why media streaming and homegroup break and no longer work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated to better do this.
 
Go to your computer management tool/local users and groups/users/ double click your username, go to profile tab. In the profile box, type in the location of the folder you set up on the other partition, apply, then log out and back in.
