Windows 8 Dev Preview on ESXi 4.1

Anyone been able to get Windows 8 Dev Preview to install on ESXi 4.1?

Tried earlier and was unable to get the hardware config right. Guest kept shutting down.

Windows 8 requires some feature of ACPI thats not implemented in ESXi 4.1.

I suspect that the Windows 8 Developers Preview WILL install on ESXi 5.0, but haven't tried yet.

From reading online this method is hit or miss for people... I haven't tried it yet.

Does the dev build have the new Hyper-V features. You would need a normal install to play with that anyways right?

Actually, both Windows 8 and and Windows Server 8 run flawlessly under Hyper-V.

Under workstation 8, using the new VT-d feature, you can actually play with Windows 8/Server 8 Hyper-V features if your so inclined. Its actually pretty cool, being able to visualize VT-d now.
