I'm trying out the Windows 8 preview on a Dell XPS200. I believe my video card is an X600 (could be an X300). Anyways, I can't get any drivers to install.

I never tried this with Win 7 - any luck with 7 or 8?
 
try vista x64 catalyst 9.1 drivers. those should work.

there was no real support for DX9 radeons on windows 7. just a default driver.
 
Thanks for the tips. I did try the WDDM 1.2 drivers, but kept getting an error "Cannot find compatible device" or something like that.

Didn't try the 9.1, but I had already thrown in the towel and ordered a 5450. Would like to have the hdmi out anyways.
