Windows 8.1 vs Windows 8 120fps UI rendering

bizarre... that would drive me nuts. Not running 8 on my desktop so can't really help (laptop wont do 120hz :p)

good luck with tracking it down

Which video card? Check for a driver update...

EDIT: Just saw your youtube description: GeForce GTX 680, drivers 327.23 and 331.40 beta

You are up to date damn, good luck with this.

Nvidia after the preview launch had 8.1 preview drivers not sure if they worked for this issue though cause I went back to 8.0 because CPU meter and the overall system did seem slow to me also.

I notice on my Surround set up not all my monitors were running at 120hz after I updated, after 2 reboots (updating some Stardock apps that restarted my PC with no prompt) issue seemed to have fixed itself (I could change the refresh.

Makes me a bit leery about updating to 8.1 now.

Always look before you leap. You may get called a Microsoft-hater by a few fanboys that think its absurd not to update because "the update doesn't cost anything so why wouldn't you" but there are always unforeseen issues, and removed features you may have been dependent on that aren't detailed openly by Microsoft because marketing always tries to focus on the positive.

I'm sticking with 8.0
