Windows 8.1 turns on after hibernation

Hi guys,

Here's an odd one. Since upgrading from 8 to 8.1, my system will turn itself on after going into hibernation for 1-2 minutes. I've tried disabling peripheral devices from being to wake up the computer but it doesn't seem to be fixing it. Anyone else have this happen?

Look in the event logs and find out for yourself what's waking the computer.

Not sure if this works with hibernation, but worth a shot nevertheless.

powercfg -lastwake

Event log said the wake source was unknown. Turned off my NIC's wake function and it seems to be working. Not sure why it wouldn't list the device, but as long as it works, right?
