Windows 7 Virtual Appliance

Hey everyone,

VMWare has released Windows 7 as a virtual appliance that you can try for free. You can download VMWare Player for free and try it out if you aren't willing to install from scratch or are lazy and haven't done this yet .

I wonder if VMWare even knows it's up - it's build 6956 which was never publicly released so... while I have to question whether or not it's "legal" I wouldn't touch it. It's very old now... Beta 1 is out, freely available, etc etc... direct from Microsoft, even.

I didn't even look at the date. If it was used prior to Friday's release... Then yes. It's illegal and shouldn't be downloaded.

If it was used after Friday's release and not authenticated w/ a product key, it's not illegal. Removing the link for simplicity's sake.
