Computer worked fine yesterday, got up today and it won't start up, windows logo then auto restart saying to run repair. I tried booting into safe mode and low res, neither worked. So I ran boot without auto restart on fail and got a blue screen saying unmountable boot volume.

I loaded system recovery, I get to the part where I can choose the windows installation or load from a windows image. However my windows installation isn't listed. I have the option of loading drivers, but every drive I tried didn't work. Computer is a dell xps, i5 system.

For the disk drives, I only have two options in the bios ACHI or RAID, it's always and still is set to ACHI.

Have you checked BIOS to see if your c: drive is being recognized? If it is, boot up a with a live cd of your choice and see if you can access the hard drive. If you can access the hard disk backup anything important. If not, buy a hard drive.
