I have this little issue with thumbnails not working for video files and music files in windows explorer. These files are mostly .mp4 and mp3. Pictures display thumbnails fine. The always show icons option isn't checked and it is set to view icons.
I did try removing my media programs, but that didn't help. CCCP, winamp, vlc, and leawo blu-ray player. I ended up putting them back with the exception of leawo. I looked and it left some traces in the registry. I'm not sure if it is that or something else.
I don't remember when this little issue started, but it has been bugging me. I could use some advice.
