Hi everyone,

I have what should be an easy problem to fix but I just can't figure it out :)

I want to configure the local Administrator account on the image with it's own wallpaper, desktop shortcuts, pinned shortcuts, etc...However, if CopyProfile setting = False in unattend.xml, all of these changes get reset after sysprep. If CopyProfile=True, the changes all stay but when I log in as a domain user, all of these changes get copied over to the user's profile and so users get the Administrator wallpaper and shortcuts. Is there anything I'm doing wrong or a I missing anything?

Why would you really care about the local admin account profile like that if you're on a domain?

But yeah, that's pretty much how it is. You're not missing anything.
 
The pinned Start Menu shortcuts are just saved in a folder. You could back that up along with the background. Image out the machine, then when you bring it up, just enable the local account and drop those files into place.
