Has anyone found it again since it was removed from RC1? I'm still dying to use my sideshow remote.

I wasn't aware that MS removed that feature from RC1 or later, if ever. Search the Control Panel with keyword 'sideshow'.

Are you saying that you're version of 7 has it? I'm staring at 3 machines, one 64 ultimate and two 32bit enterprise, all three come back with 'no items match your search'.

Sorry about that; my eyes aren't what they used to be. However, for sideshow, my understanding is that its hidden until a compatible device is added. Once that occurs the sideshow icon will appear in the control panel.

Ahah! That's promising. I'll work on getting the remote connected as a device and see what happens.

Mine is under Control Panel / Programs. It is the last one listed under programs. Are you saying yours isn't there?

I've been messing around with things so much all I can say for sure is that it's not listed as a control panel applet. What does yours say exactly? As you can see I have the managed runtime and gadgets for sideshow but I'm thinking you have something else...
