Windows 7 RC1 Build 7048 Release date!

wait, it says nothing about it being build 7048 at fudzilla, wth?

If it is, then whats gonna be different from the 7048 that was released a couple days ago?
 
Ah, yeah, missed that. They announced that RC1 will be out on April 10th, not a specific build number which is impossible to predict, of course. I'd guess if they actually make the release date as scheduled, they'll probably be using a build from late March, perhaps the very first of April...

How cool would that be to have a build that's created on April Fool's Day itself? :)
 
I doubt that 7048 can be the RC. The build date for 7048 was February 19. I expect the RC to have a build date in early March. But then again, I think the beta release was several months old before they released it.
 
Not this again. Fudzilla is in new category of mega fail.
 
Not what again? The OP made a claim, it was refuted, we all realized our semantic errors, we all know RC1 is coming out on April 10th per Microsoft's admission, we all know it won't be build 7048 as that's a bit too old (compiled on February 19th) sooo...

What's got your knickers in a bunch this time, pxc? :D
