At work, we have a server running Windows Server 2003 and are experiencing a problem with PC's running Windows 7 Professional.
When the Windows 7 machines come out of Sleep mode, or after being on and left alone for an extended period of time, they are no longer able to connect to the server, but are still connected to the network and are able to go online. If the computer running Windows 7 is restarted, it is then able to connect to the server again.
Does anyone know what might be causing this to happen? Are there incompatibility issues between Windows Server 2003 and Windows 7? I've spent a lot of time searching for solutions to the problem, but haven't been able to find anything.
