I just installed Windows 7 RC and I noticed the large print on the agreement stating that some privacy settings have been enabled such that information will be transmitted to Microsoft via the internet.

They then state they can be turned off - however, MS being MS, they don't tell you HOW to do that.

I don't want to transmit ANYTHING to MS - any thoughts on how to disable these settings?

Easiest answer: Don't run a beta OS whose primary focus is to generate feedback for MS on potential issues.
 
OK - conspiracy theroists asside - it is explicitly stated on the MS website:

You can choose whether to use or disable features of Windows 7 that transfer personal information over the Internet.

So my question still stands - how do you turn these features off?
