Windows 7 on Dell Inspiron E1505

My parents have the computer mentioned in the title. Here are some specs:

Core 2 Duo @ 1.8Ghz
1 GB of RAM (I'm going to upgrade it to 2GB if they go through with the Windows 7 upgrade)
80 GB 7200 RPM HD
GeForce Go 7300 128MB

So, looking at their specs - should I expect Windows 7 to run well on this laptop? Dell does not have Windows 7 drivers, but they do have Vista drivers. Unfortunately, the laptop will be maxed out at 2 GB of RAM. We'll be using a 32-bit version of Windows 7. Thoughts? I would expect for basic usage (web browsing mostly), this computer should be good. I just want them to be on a more modern OS than Windows XP.

It'll work fine on 7. I've helped a few friends put 7 on their E1705s, and it runs just fine.

my dad has one, or is it a 1525? not sure but it works and looks just like that one, we threw a ssd in it and windows 7.
