Windows 7 keeps resetting my folder options

Hello! I've been using Windows 7 for awhile now, but have been having a very annoying issue with how it's handling my folder view options. I like most of my folders to be view -> details and have that setting as my default, but certain folders, especially picture albums, I like view -> large icons. Some folders I like to arrange by type, others by name, etc.

Anyway, lately when I change a folder from the default "details" view, to a different one, it reverts back after a couple hours!!

I've never had this issue before, and it's becoming so annoying I've decided to seek some help.

Think I figured it out =)

It seems like windows uses templates for view settings, and each folder has a different "type". I just had to change the type =p
