windows 7 issue

I allso posted this in motherboard because I cant decide witch one is the problem ...but anyway

Ok so I have upgraded..well have been upgrading my PC from the as rock dualvsta775 board to the gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3L board and I am tring to do a fresh install of windows 7 64 bit on but it will load the dvd and go through the windows 7 logo then bam nothing black screen and if you let it sit for 4 minutes or so and it will flicker with the screen I should be seeing for options to install I made sure the cables tight only 1 stick of ddr2 1066 ocz reaper ram in there took only bare minimal stuff only 1 dvd drive hooked up I just cant figure it out I have been working on this all day ow ya and on top of all that I cant get the memory compatibility sheet up for my motherboard here is the link though someone PLEASE HELP geek s.o.s LOL anyway thanks

Stupid question: do you have more than 1 monitor hooked up?

there is no such thing as a stupid questions and yes I should have added that there is only 1 22 inch lcd monitor hooked up to my evga 9800 gtx + video card
 
Run some bootable hardware tests. Memtest86+ v4.0, CPU tests (from UBCD), DFT.
Hmmm, also (a long shot)...your monitor may be 'accidently' going to sleep. Try a different one. Check BIOS power mgmt too.
