Hey Guys, I've spend the last few hours trying to research this, I am thinking that you guys might have found similar issues.

I am installing Windows 7 64-Bit (a legitimate version directly from Microsoft). On my system:
Core i7 920 cpu
Asus P6T mobo
6GB kingston ram
EVGA GTX 480 video
Asus Xonar Essence STX sound
80GB Intel SSD. Not using RAID.

I found this on Microsofts Site, some one else with the same problem. They don't seem to be much help: http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/3697/backgroundcli.jpg

The link to that thread is: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...allpaper/91649357-c70a-42f3-ae33-c69f82380e76

Thanks.

Did you try the steps on the MS page?

Have you retried the install from the beginning?

I've installed Windows on this exact set-up before with out any problems. I tried all of them except for disabling usb from the bios. Both my Mouse and Keyboard are usb, would that not leave me unable to control the computer. Then I would have to pull the CMOS battery ETC. I may be wrong.

What do you mean install from the beginning?
