I'm trying to setup file sharing in my house over 5 pcs. 3 are Win7 (Home Prem) and in the same homegroup. I have no trouble setting up a share for everyone, I cannot however figure out how to share a file for a single user. I keep running into the issue of the pcname\location\domain being off. For example I have a folder on pc1 i want to share for user1. The user rights are shown as \\pc1\user1. When I go to pc2 even though user1 exists I can't ever change over pc2 to pc1 in the credentials. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

If you use the same username/password combo on each system, you shouldn't have any issues like this. I have multiple Windows 7 systems, and I don't even have HomeGroups set up, and don't have any issues. Same when I ran Vista on them all, and XP on all systems.
