Windows 7 Ethernet Error

I just switched over my components to a new case and a Gigabyte P45 UD3P.

My Ubuntu 9.04 partition connects to the internet no problem. But when I boot up my Windows 7 64-bit RC, no connection to the internet is detected. I tried to install the drivers from the dvd that came with the motherboard, but this yielded no result.

Additionally, I tried to install the Vista 64-bit drivers from the Gigabyte website with equally no result.

Anyone have a similar issue or know of a potential fix?

You said you tried to install the drivers -- did it work, or is the device unknown or in an error state?

If it appears to be working, are you getting an IP address?

Everything I have listed so far has not worked.

The LAN test in the BiOS shows a connection and ubuntu connects, so i'm thinking it's an issue of finding the right driver that would match this mobo with Windows 7 64-bit RC.

Tried that one as well, so far no luck with anything I've been pointed to.

I'm thinking I'll have to wait until the next realtek release for windows 7 (if that ever comes)
