Windows 7 desktop background question

I am losing my mind. What choice when setting a desktop background in W7 keeps the aspect ratio? Is it fit or center?

Both keep the aspect ratio, but 'fit' resizes the image so that at least one dimension fills the screen, which leaves black bars on the other dimension if the aspect ratio doesn't match your display. On the other hand, 'center' does not change the image at all, but if it's larger than the display area, then you'll be missing part of the image.
 
That's what I meant. Not aspect ratio but resize. Center doesn't touch the image at all. That's what I want.
