Windows 7 Compatible IDE/RAID Controller for Cheap?

So I just recently discovered that my trusty old Ultra100 TX2's aren't compatible with Windows 7 despite whatever tricks I try and pull. I had read you could get them working with the Vista driver package for the Ultra133 but I didn't have any luck with that. So, seeing as I still use 6 IDE devices in my desktop, I need to find a Windows 7 compatible IDE (or RAID) controller card for cheap. This is proving to be more difficult than I would have imagined.. I've found that Silicon Image's SIL680 chipset has Win7 64bit drivers on their site but finding a branded card from them is nearly impossible. Would this driver work with any SIL680-based controller card? Like this [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Syba-SD-ATA133R-32-Bit-Controller-Chipset/dp/B000BKQBLG"]Amazon.com: Syba SD-ATA133R PCI 32-Bit, IDE U/ATA133 RAID Controller , SIL680 Chipset: Electronics@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41KY0NdvfqL.@@AMEPARAM@@41KY0NdvfqL[/ame], for example?

Input/suggestions/donations all welcome :p

Do you actually need raid (raid1/5/6, etc) or you just need to hook up more hard drives?
