Windows 2000 terminal service?

I want to setup a server that will allow me to connect wirelessly from older machines remote desktop style. I have a windows 2000 advanced server CD, but I don't know much about it. If I setup a server with that OS, can I connect to that server with older machines the way remote desktop works with XP, but with multiple clients? Could someone log onto 3 machines at a time controlling one server?


I just want to make sure what I'm thinking is correct before I waste a bunch of time trying it... :)
 
2 connections at once in administrative mode unless you set up a licensing server with licenses for terminal server.
