How do I change my startup in Windows 2000. It's one of my dad's old computers and its got a load of shit running at startup.

From what I can tell, the startup folder is empty.
When I put msconfig into the run command, It says something about it not being a valid command. (I can get the exact error sometime tomorrow, but hopefully that's enough for now)

The way I do it is go into your registry (start > run > regedit) and do a search for "runonce"

Everytime "runonce" folder is found, there will be a "run" folder above it. Those are your startup folders you normally find in msconfig.

You will find this runonce and run folder at least twice, sometimes three times.

msconfig wasn't included in W2K, although you can easily import and run the XP version of msconfig.
