When I start up my computer It askes me to select a OS but I only have Windows 2000.

It displayes Windows 2000 Twice and I was wondering how I can take off the second one or just make it Load on the top Selection.

Thnx in advance :D

Yea - you can.

Right click on "My Computer", go to advanced, i believe, then choose "startup and shutdown" options.

Their should be a pull down list there for you to choose. Simply force the valid windows 2000 option and/or set the timer to 0.

Wash, rinse, repeat as necessary.

If you need to ask then you should follow -=FNW=-j@br0n1's advice ;)

And to answer your question, its hidden in the root of the C: drive.

Otay here is what I got from my Boot.ini file

[boot loader]
timeout=0
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT="Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional" /fastdetect
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(1)\WINNT="Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional" /fastdetect

All I do is delete the second "Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional" line right?

Yes... if the top line is the one you are using ot boot when the menu comes up, just delete the bottom line.

"multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(1)\WINNT="Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional" /fastdetect"
