Somehow :rolleyes:

One of the users forgot their logon password for a laptop running windows 2000 professional

Is there any way to get onto the system, not knowing the password :confused:
 
How about the Administrator account? Sometimes it's blank by default.

If that was the Admin account, then you may have to boot with a password cracker/resseter.

Although I can sympathize, any discussion on how to bypass the Windows password falls into the domain of "that which we do not discuss". I'm sure some google digging will net you what you're looking for though.
