I have two hard drives installed (a 10 and 30Gb) and am currently running Windows 98...

Everything works fine, except if I try to boot from the 2k install disk setup will halt saying it does not detect any hard drives on my system... If I try to upgrade from 98 to 2k setup blue screens with "Inaccessible boot device" blah blah blah.

This is getting pretty annoying... Anything I can do?

Verify jumper position select on your drives. For Win 2k, they have to be set as master and slave. If you set to cable select, this issue of non-detecting could happen. Also verify if the HDD's are not with errors on their MFT (win2k also works a lot better using NTFS). Partition Magic 8.0 is also an excellent tool to verify/correct disks issues of all kinds, whem the problem is with partitions set and file system issues.
