Anyone run into this problem yet? My cousin called me up last night saying his laptop was boot looping after getting a Windows update on W11.
Did some digging and came up with a bunch of articles.

https://hothardware.com/news/window...hould allow you to continue using the machine.

ETC,ETC

My cousin had just just swapped in a Blue SN580 a couple months ago and the reg hack worked on his system, so yeah meantime Microsoft is working on a patch.

Holy hell, i'm so glad I saw this. Every since 24H2 my game drive, a 2TB SN770 has been failing intermittently and the game i'm playing just crashes. Oddly the drive still shows up in Explorer and Device Manager and can be navigated, but I can't read/write from it. Rebooting clears it up and its fine again, no SMART errors.

Oddly my boot drive is also an SN770 but its been fine, likely because I read/write so little from it.

Thank you!

No BSOD's? Did you do the reg fix?

No, but my boot SN770 doesn't do a whole lot. My game drive SN770 is hit hard all the time which I think is triggering the problem. Since the OS isn't on it, no BSOD's is my thought. I'm going to be applying the regedit to force 64MB later when I'm home.

Good to know. I recently bought one of the recently released SN5000 to use in a build for my step-dad.....haven't installed it yet.

Did the firmware update on my 2TB, we'll see how it goes.

Looks like the 1TB, my boot drive, isn't even on the list of affected drives.
