I was wondering if my macbook pro will have the support for windows 10 on bootcamp. I recently updated my desktop to windows 10 and figured I would update my macbook pro with it as well. I just do not want compatibility issues by doing so.

Alright that is good to know, I know apple has been known for dropping the ball on support for these things. You have any experience with windows 10 via bootcamp?

I was using it for about 2 months, but it was purely to play the Mass Effect Trilogy again. Personally, I'm moving back to Windows 7. Don't like Windows tracking "features".

Generally, actually Apple is pretty good at at least supporting things out the gate. I would recommend that you get the latest video card drivers (whether AMD, nVidia, etc) for Windows and don't rely on the Bootcamp drivers. The trackpad drivers suck, much better in OSX (I guess to be expected). If you're on a laptop, the battery management in Windows sucks. Other than that, it's a good experience. You may or may not also want to do some level of fan management as well. That is hit and miss in Windows. On OSX of course those things more or less work perfectly.

That's my experience as well. Great for casual home use, not so good for use as a real laptop due to battery issues. It's still better than nothing though, for those special programs you just can't live without.

The GPU performance is also significantly faster on Windows for most things. So if that's a limiting factor for you, play it on Windows.
