Did a fresh install of Windows 10 from DVD disc
I burned.
I've setup my email, but cannot connect to my ISP's mailbox.
All I see is "not synced yet".

All my settings are correct. I've tried the "fix account" setting with no luck.
I've set the sync settings, but nothing seems to work.

I have the latest win 10 updates installed.
I've removed and added the account back a few times.
So far everything else is working as far as I can tell.

Any ideas on this appreciated.

Well after google searching and trying several so called solutions
nothing worked, including uninstall and reinstall.

So I'm looking for a new email client.

Without knowing anything about your ISP's mail system, I can only say I have used the Mail app against Outlook.com and Google with multiple accounts with minimal issue.

The one thing I can think of is that by default not all mail is synced, only recent. Go into the account settings within Mail and change the sync to manual. If it does work, you can switch it back to based on my usage or whatever the default is.

I appreciate the efforts, but nothing corrects the issue.
I decided to install a client called Postbox and it worked right out of the gate.

From what I gather on google searching, this is known bug in windows 10 from way back in beta.

What email provider, settings, etc? Do you have TLS or SSL, is it IMAP or POP?

Details, man! :p
