windows 10 edge will not connect

Hello

I upgraded from windows 7 pro 64 to windows 10 via free offer from MS

Google chrome works just fine.

but edge will not connect.

I tried dns settings at

settings
network & internet
ethernet
change adapter options
local area connnect
properties
internet protoccol version 4 (tcp/ipv4)
properties
general
use the fallowing dns sever address
prefered dns server 8 . 8 . 8 . 8
alternate dns server 8 . 8 . 4 . 4

still not connection, please anyone have the answer to getting edge to work?
 
try without the dns maybe. also, if you didn't know, IE is still in program files...
 
I would stick with Chrome. Edge does not fully support HTML5 and has no support for extensions as of yet.
 
I don't think it's your system. I've had intermittent issues with Firefox, Chrome, and Edge. I just switch when I have an issue and switch back when they are working.
 
problem solved, vipre just updated to the latest version. edge works.
I use chrome all the time, but some things required MS brower.
IE is on windows 10 it always worked so did MS store and so did Cortana.

all is well now.
